Davey Todd Joins FHO Racing BMW Motorrad for 2025 TT

FHO Racing BMW Motorrad has officially announced that Davey Todd will join their factory-supported team for the 2025 Isle of Man TT Races, partnering with current team member Peter Hickman.

Both riders, who secured three wins between them at TT 2024, will compete aboard the latest BMW M1000R in the RST Superbike TT, Milwaukee Senior TT, and PE and RL360 Superstock TT races. In addition to their TT campaign, Todd and Hickman will also contest the 2025 British Superbike Championship. Todd will make the leap from the Superstock Championship, which he claimed for the second time in 2024.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to join the FHO Racing BMW Motorrad team for 2025,” said Todd. “I’ve enjoyed riding the BMW this year, and to step into one of the paddock’s top teams is a dream. Pete and I are good friends, so it’s going to be great teaming up with him.”

Todd and Hickman are expected to form a “dream team” in 2025, positioning Faye Ho’s squad as strong favorites for multiple race wins. Hickman, who has secured seven TT victories since partnering with FHO in 2022, and Todd’s growing success make for a formidable pairing.

Todd transitions from the Milwaukee BMW by TAS Racing team, with BMW playing a key role in assembling the new FHO lineup. The 29-year-old aims to build on his recent TT successes, including wins in the RL360 Superstock TT and Milwaukee Senior TT in 2024.

“Can you say that again?” Todd joked, reflecting on his achievements. “Hearing ‘TT winner’ never gets old. Going back as the reigning champion in those races is amazing, and I’m eager to add more wins next year. BMW wanted Pete and me in the same team, and we’re both focused on being the dominant force.”

Todd highlighted the benefits of his partnership with Hickman: “We’re similar personalities—focused on the track and laid-back off it. Sharing data and insights will push us both to improve, making us faster and stronger.”

Having set a stunning 135.664 mph lap in the RST Superbike TT, making him the third-fastest rider in TT history, Todd’s 2024 season saw him claim five podium finishes. He has also proven his talent on short circuits, winning the Superstock title in both 2022 and 2024.

“I want to show I’m not just a road racer,” Todd added. “Moving up to BSB has been a career goal. I’ve achieved all I can in Superstock and feel ready for the step up. I’m a more consistent and mature rider now, and with a strong team and competitive package, I’m excited for the challenge of a full BSB season.”
